HAHA I don't think this was your intention, with your question of what I got bullied for, that did bring some traumatic flashbacks

I was bullied for being TOO SHY IN PUBLIC SPEAKING AND SINGING. Ya. Ironic given my new video ambitions right??

I'll have to change the wording then. Didn't mean to bring back trauma, but go you for experimenting with video! Start an association of boys and girls turning shy public speaking into awesome video content?

The feelings around "Rain man/woman" conjured up the same feelings I had when reading "The word weird used to mean ‘having the power to control destiny’." in your other article https://intersectionalthinking.substack.com/p/those-who-tell-stories-rule-society?s=r

It reminded me of ‘Weathering with you’ the Japanese anime, with the Weather maiden. Good to hear they are uniting under an association ☺️ Maybe there are a few in Wellington. It feels like we get a lot of rain here.

Ame! :) Have you watched Your Name? Same maker (Makoto Shinkai), beautifully illustrated. Worth watching if only for that!

Didn't know about this rain man/woman concept. I smell a manga in there somewhere... (It's probably been done?!)

Haha you're very right. There's one called 雨男は陽気に笑う about a rain man meeting a sun woman (hare onna 晴れ女) https://s.tbsbooks.jp/content/00008213.html

That's amazing. I believe I am a rain man. Definitely an introvert and yes, it rains when I go out and usually starts as soon as I get home or indoors. I never get caught in the rain, but I always seem to just make it to cover. Thanks for posting this.

It always rains but you never get caught in the rain! That may be the ultimate rainmaking power ☔️ Thank you for reading David!
